pc stick adapter

I finally got all my parts and joysticks which are a pc flightstick and a controller called the analog edge. its all put together and I have a problem. some games like defender work fine and pac-man works fine. super breakout is about as good as i would expect for playing with a joystick but on some games most notably missile command the control is way way too sensitive. it is uncontrollable to the point that I can't make it past the second screen on a game that I am usually very good at. problem is not as bad with the analog edge as it is with the flight stick but is still horrible. I do seem to have full range of motion tho. anyone have any ideas on how to fix this. didn't have this problem several years ago with my last one. thanks in advance.

I don't know the solution to a bad analog controller as I can only imagine the many possible issues. What should be known though is how are other controllers working on the system? If a normal controller isn't working properly either then I'd guess it's a bad port. Otherwise someone else may chime in.

normal 5200 controllers work fine on the system aside from the normal being a pain in the rear issues such as buttons and such
