huskers1987
I found an atari 7800 system at a garage sale in the original box but it doesnt have a power supply cord, can I go to radio shack and maybe find something that works? I think the joysticks are with it,I will have to check, IF anyone is interested in this please email me. Thanks............
nathanallan
The connector is proprietary, radio shack doesn't carry them. I got someone here to make a new receptacle for me. But if you're gonna sell it I don't know if you'd want to bother with it. Still have to test it, though. Nathan

ovalbugmann
Your going to have to find one on ebay or here, like I had to do when I recently got a 7800 console. The one you need is black, has a slightly rounded case, and a small blue tip. Or their $15 from best-electronics-ca.com

as_the_gavel_falls
Thanks Zwackery, hopefully he will buy it from me I only had these made because the 7800 is a killer system that died an early death in part due to that proprietary connector. Zwackery
People sometimes tend to go a little ga-ga over original stock Atari-branded 7800 power supplies - and if you are a completist, sure, buy yourself one and enjoy, I would - but if someone finds a lonely 7800 in the wild without a power supply, yours are the best solution: guaranteed to work and at a very reasonable price. I really like the 7800 (heck, now I have 3), yes, even the Pro-Line joysticks. Well, Karateka makes me want to pull my hair out, but it has plenty of really solid titles. Nathan I bet that means the weird-ass connector on the Sears Video Arcade II is proprietary as well, isn't it?
