Three words:

Car Racer. With a level editor, it could be fantastic. I would also like to see a version on the Apple II. Although I was less than pleased with the speed of Arctic Fox on the platform, I think it would be doable.

 

Does soemone have an explanation why the speccy version is that much slower than the C64 version?

believe it or not, there is already a patched version of THRUST available that works with joystick ! Just download it from Fandal`s site... -Andreas Koch.
