Lucky Man Posted March 4, 2008 Share Posted March 4, 2008 Hey Guys, I did it again. I won an eBay Germany auction but didn't notice the seller doesn't accept Paypal, only bank transfer in euros. bones Posted March 4, 2008 Share Posted March 4, 2008 Happened to me as well. My bank wanted $40 US for an international wire transfer, yikes! I asked the seller about PayPal and they accepted it with a $9 'convenience' charge added. I wasn't thrilled with this solution, but better than paying $40 for payment on a small ticket item. I was hoping one of our German members might be able to help me out, but, maybe a wire transfer would cost them too? I don't know. But it would have to be less than the $35.00 my bank wants to do it.
