qixmaster Posted March 7, 2008 Share Posted March 7, 2008 Alright, i snagged a ton of stuff a while back and this was included in the lot (along with some other goodies like star maze and SALT 2.05). I have searched for info on this and have had little success. +David_P Posted March 8, 2008 Share Posted March 8, 2008 (edited) It looks like a dongle - the software would check part of the memory space to see that the "key" was inserted prior to booting or operating. The cart itself is a few logic ICs tying a few lines together - there are only connections to six traces. And note that the chips have been sanded down - otherwise it would be too easy for someone to recreate the cart.
