Prodos8
If you can't wait twelve seconds to play ColecoVision than you don't deserve to. j/k Nice job and good luck with your sale! Edited March 24, 2008 by Prodos8
doubledown
The 12 seconds is garbage and I can't wait. I hate that stupid title screen.

doubledown
I did the same Intro Skip mod on the 7800 I use to have. Except with that one you didn't have to press a button, it just bypassed the screen all together. That BIOS also had the onboard Asteroids ROM (like the European consoles if I'm not mistaken) so if the unit was powered without a cartridge inserted, Asteroids would load. I wish I knew how to program at all, I'd like to have Donkey Kong as an onboard ROM for the ColecoVision.

Aces and eights always split.

doubledown
I'm just saying that I thought the PAL 7800s had the onboard Asteroids ROM, whereas the NTSC units didn't. Can anybody confirm this? The Skip Bios/Astroids Rom upgrade I did was on an NTSC 7800.

doubledown
So there were no PAL 7800 consoles that had Asteroids as a built in ROM?
Shawn
So there were no PAL 7800 consoles that had Asteroids as a built in ROM? only pal consoles actually
doubledown
That's what I was asking confirmation about: The fact that PAL 7800 consoles had Asteroids as an onboard ROM. The place where I got the original Intro Skip /Asteroids Rom BIOS indicated that PAL consoles had Asteroids as an onboard ROM.
