athleos Posted March 24, 2008 Share Posted March 24, 2008 i have an eprom programmer and the urge to buy a homebrew cart from the atariage store. my questions are: 1. how do i know if TMC (theta music composer) is in a binary format, since i am not a programmer and don't know what that means? 2. does the program NEED to be in binary in order to run on a cart or can it be in the .atr format? i don't have a sio2pc yet but i do have the programmer so i'm just curious. the only reason i do know anything about binary/cartridge stuff is because of my recent foray into all things C64 (don't hate me). by the way, here's a link to the TMC page. http://jaskier.atari8.info/# (click the "old projects" link and click "TMC2") i'm looking to use TMC2 on my 600xl (with the RAM expansion of course) and just had this "crazy" idea.
