Although you'd think that the version with the 84 copyright would be the latest one, I'm starting to think that the version with the 83 copyright is the last one. The 84 version has infinite lives, which means that they were either still playtesting it, or someone hacked it later on. On the surface they looked the same otherwise, but I didn't really do an indepth play through of either. Does anyone know the story behind these? Tempest Posted April 30, 2008 Author Share Posted April 30, 2008 The 1983 version is actually the later version. The 1984 version is buggy and has numerous issues. The programmer probably was guessing on when the game was going to be released when they were working on the earlier version.
