Tempest
Does anyone know where to find the roms for the early prototype versions of Crystal Castles mentioned here: http://www.digitpress.com/eastereggs/a48crystalcastles.htm I have a few, but not the early ones. They look interesting... Tempest
carmel_andrews
Are you sure the '84 version was Rom only...I'm sure I heard it was also on Disk... Also to back this up the only emulator versions of the '84 versions i've see are ATR's only, only ther later Atari C version is on Rom
+Mitch
Here's all the ones I have. Probably some dupes in there, I didn't bother to check. Mitch Crystal_Castles.zip
peteym5
Pretty cool, Atari should have put it forward and marketed it for the 8-bit. There are a number of arcade games they did not port to the 8-bit, 2600, 5200, 7800 and should have to help compete with Nintendo and Sega. Maybe if we can decompile it, we may be able to fix and complete it.

Tempest
They did. Crystal Castles was released for the XEGS in 1988. Yep, but I don't like it for some reason. I have a list of differences on my page: http://www.atariprotos.com/8bit/software/c...stalcastles.htm Tempest
