Ferret75
I just don't fancy the number thing that much. =P
jnice
A lot of games use the number pad (but mostly for the "#" and "*" buttons, for more than one player or for game variations). You can use the number pad at a certain place to warp to any stage on Miner 2049er. You can type in your plays for Football (although my controllers seem to be calling plays for the opponent at the same time...I think something's wrong with my system), You can get extra balls by pressing "1" on ball 5 of Super Breakout. You absolutely need the number pad to play Rescue on Fractalus and Star Raiders (I believe this is also true of Space Shuttle...I have never figured this game out -- no manual). You can move Frogger if you don't want to use the joystick portion of the stock controller. You must enter the Failsafe Code in Countermeasure with the number pad. I believe the number pad affects the type of pitches and returns used in Baseball and Tennis. You can select different corners of the playfield to use in Castle Crisis. You can use the number pad for secret codes on Beef Drop (speaking of which, I hope I have written down somewhere). BydoEmpire
Miner 2049er also uses the number pad on the elevator stage to jump between different floors. That took me a while to figure out, I kept trying to push up and down, and trying the fire buttons!
