I agree completely.

 

It's a little unusual to see this on an Atari 8bit computer game, especially one like Computer Chess. Complete copies are not very common, but I'm surprised at the way this has gone.

 

Still, there may be some hope for the world if people are willing to spend decent money on an almost 30-yr-old chess program

Most of the early 8-bit 'small box' titles are uncommon. Computer Chess and 3D Tic Tac Toe seem to be the harder to find titles from this series, but I wouldn't call them rare. $20-$25 seems right to me.
