ianoid
Repro cart on chasethechuckwagon.com Seriously, why would you repro a $6 game, let alone sell it for $20? I almost want to buy it because there really shouldn't be any more of these out there. Of course, you could probably just ask Randy to make more. Insert link to angry H0zer thread here. nathanallan
I tend to agree. A friend of mine bought a Coke Wins! repro but it was all custom, with clear plastic and foil labels. I sure wish him luck, though. Nathan

nathanallan
Not *all* repros. On the side of them, you get the assurance that your cart should last a good 20 years or so, if you keep it away from lightning and stuff. That Sesame Street game just isn't a favorite. There are a few games I'd scrape up for, that just isn't one (apparently for many people). Nathan Edited July 5, 2008 by nathanallan

ianoid
No way I'm anti-repro. Repros are great, and hacks can be, and homebrew can be great too. Coke Wins or some other rarity is a good example of something worth reproing. But would you repro Combat with a Shaq-fu'd label? Perhaps if you were making a neat label variation (foil, as mentioned before) or something cute. Hologram. 3D. I'd pay $20 for a repro with a cool label. Ex: Porno double enders or Wizard double enders. Edited July 6, 2008 by ianoid
Impaler_26
Yep, i also don't have anything against repros. I just think selling a repro of a game that still can be bought for a few bucks is a rip off!
Rom Hunter
Well, I'm not a big fan of repro's (especially when they pretend to be the real thing), but this one is insane. What's next? E.T. repro's?

E.T. repro's? Special Numbered, Foil Label, Limited Quantity, Anniversary collection... For the first 5 I nominate... Combat, ET, Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Asteroids. *Hides* Edited July 6, 2008 by Chickybaby
