I did one in 2003, an interpreter written in X-Forth

To my knowledge Tom Hunt did the first BrainF*ck for the A8

I never had time to do "serious" work in BF :) Carsten

Great! Thanks Carsten for information.

Just to clarify that statement "From MyDOS, start BF.COM, then BF" D:filename.BF" is true for older version (0.0.2). The newest disc (0.1.0) has all BrainFuck programs with *.b extentsion (Pawel has changed it to be compatible with all BF implementations).

BTW: AtariWiki look pretty good and your effort put into that is amazing. Respect.

BTW2: I can't open page http://cth.dtdns.net/mouse/ - is it still exist?

that instructions are actually for my BF.COM (attached to the page), the X-FORTH compiled version. I have rearranged the information to make it more clear :)

Currently only about 20% of the old wiki are migrated to the new wiki, so there is still some stuff to come.

I guess the page is on an dynDNS name (the TTL on the DNS entry is quite low) and an dynamic IP Address, so it is on-and-off from time to time

Thanks Carsten.

By the way: new version of Pawel's BrainFuck is available. Change log:

- implemented PEEK and POKE (is possible to write ANY program in BF now) - this is not compatible with official BF, so this version has been named "Atari BrainFuck+"

- editor "JBW Edit" has been added.
