I think what your looking for in on the XE-Term disk, but I don't seem to have a copy anymore.

I hope you are not plugging and unplugging SIO cables while any device in the loop has power. You may get away with that a couple of times but eventually you will start loosing SIO devices in that they will just quit working one by one until you have none including your computer. So don't do that.

 

Sorry, I'm no help with the "no light" symptom as I used a SX212 modem and don't even remember that much about it. I eventually worked my way up to a Supra 2400 baud baby - look out!!

I found a guy calls himself "wolfpup" who has made a board that will run HDisks.
