Bump for new auctions - Vectrex and 5200 VCS Adapter, all CIB

Ah the lucky seller of the Berestain bears. Congrates. HHW

Thanks... I had bought the sealed Berenstein Bears on ebay several years ago for almost that much money. After I paid shipping when I bought it, and then all of the ebay fees I pretty much broke even. But I'd rather have my money in videogames than in the market right now!!!! :)

Wasn't the comp 4 the first handheld?

I think Mattel Auto Race was first (1976).

Is this one of Ralph Baer's projects?

I was pretty sure it was and he listed it as the first of something.

Yeah, it's possible the date on that Auto Race wikipedia page is wrong. I couldn't find anything with a quick google search. When I get home I'll look in Baer's book and see if he mentions it.

I couldn't find any mention of the Comp IV in Baer's book by Rolenta Press... the only relevant thing in there was that he was the first to 'develop a truly successful microprocessor controlled handheld sequence game' (Simon, Milton Bradley, 1979). The patent for Simon was filed in 1977, and issued in June 1980.

I feel like if that was a Baer project that was the first of something, it would be pretty prominent in that book... he's really determined to make sure that everyone knows what his accomplishments were. He doesn't seem to be the most modest person :)
