hhwolfman
Guys, these constant McGrail threads are getting annoying. Just as a point of information, the link goes to a Bresoftware auction, not anything to do with McGrail. I say, I sayyy, It was a joke son, get it. DrLove0378
$679.95 for a bunch of 25-30 year old pieces of plastic? Ahahahahaaa! Totally unreal. Methinks this guy needs the little men in white coats to come check him out! Or, he just doesn't know a damn thing about Atari. And I thought seeing $1.99 Combat carts at Goodwill was insane. If there was an "Air Raid" cart in the lot, MAYBE. This guy would sh!t a brick if he knew what used to happen with those uber-rare Combat carts at the AtariAge store... But, if this was a "Buy It Now, or Best Offer" auction, I would've bid $1 just to piss him off. (But I already have most of these games anyway, so what's the point?) Earlier this year, for $200, I got most of those titles... along with 12 NES decks, 2 working Power Gloves, an original Intellivision, and enough games and stuff for various other systems to fill the entire passenger compartment of my car, leaving almost no room for me to drive. Worth it? Hell yeah! I only had to flip a few of those items to make back my investment. "One dollar, Bob... I mean, Drew!" * "1" appears on the toteboard in front of him *
solidus8
Great speaking voice I wonder if this is the same company that used to advertise in the back of EGM back in the day. "Super Hydlide: We sell for: 59.95; we buy for 4.95" You know what? I think you may be right! After seeing your post I took a look at my old issues of EGM and Gamepro...lo and behold there were orange and white ads saying "BRE Software: We sell for/we buy for". That sort of thing always was good for a cheap laugh! Edited October 16, 2008 by solidus8
