I don't know what you mean exactly, but simply making the sprite the same color as the PF and placing it at the desired location will make it look like part of it.

 

Although if you don't need a lot of detail on these parts that you want to add to the PF, the ball could be a better option because it already uses the same color as the PF, so you can still use both sprites for something else.
