chjmartin2 Posted November 4, 2008 Share Posted November 4, 2008 I just got a Colecovision in, I went ahead and ordered the 8bit AV mod, it'll be here soon. Anyway, using the RF Adapter I get no audio. It's not like there is a little bit of audio, it simply is not there. On one TV it ends up being total white noise (snow) and on another it is just silence. Any ideas what it is? I'm going to go ahead and try to tap the audio out on the IC to see if it is that, but I was wondering if this is a known failure mode with a fix. Any help is appreciated. channelmaniac Posted November 6, 2008 Share Posted November 6, 2008 Check the output of the audio IC. If it's missing, replace it... If it's there then check for problems in the RF Modulator. ten-four Posted November 6, 2008 Share Posted November 6, 2008 I also believe that it is your RF modulator. You need to adjust the sound by turning a small ferrite screw a tiny bit, just slightly.
