I'm with Zwackery on this one. If Nintendo don't demand it back (unlikely) then they might buy it back.

I'm not sure there would be anyone out there into games or the SNES/Nintendo stupid enough to spend that amount of money. That's about 1/5th of what my house id worth!

It has a cord that goes out the back so it can network with up to 8 other games and it displays everyone's score on a separate monitor and is set up with a timer that stops all the games after 6 min.

Too bad there is only one so there is nothing to network with. :D

It would be pretty cool to replicate them though.

There are two that exist. And this has been listed on eBay before. I don't understand why people forget this, it's always the same listings.

Well, the seller claims:

I currently own the only know copy of the PowerFest '94 Competition Super Nintendo (SNES).

Anyway, $50,000 is an insane amount of money for some bytes of ROM and a network interface...

Roland, this is not the Powerfest cart. It's the Campus Challenge that he is selling, and yes, there are TWO of those, and he also owns the Powerfest, which only 1 exists.

Exactly why this is a show-off auction ;)
