SpendTooMuchOnAtari
So, I'm getting ready to pre-post some sealed DS games and am wondering if anyone has an opinion of the best day for them to end. I am going to have them end at night but not too late, in time for people to get off work, eat dinner or whatever. I have always thought that Sunday was not a very good night for auctions to go off but I don't know. Just looking for anyone's opinions or experiences, thanks a lot! jeremy Edited November 11, 2008 by SpendTooMuchOnAtari

Captain Beard
According to the September issue of the Atari2600.com newsletter, auctions ending on Thursday night between 9-10PM Pacific seems to be the golden spot for sales (in August, anyway.) He goes on to say that the absolute worst time to have auctions end is Saturday afternoon.

Pixelboy
I'd say Saturday (after 9 PM, 10 PM is probably the best) or Sunday (after 8 PM). I prefer having my auctions end on Saturday evenings, because then I have all of Sunday to discuss shipping arrangements, and assuming the buyer pays with Paypal on Sunday, I can ship his/her item on Monday. But that's just me.

SEgamer
I made best experiences with sunday nights! I 2nd that I 3rd that. Now if only some of those people would actually pay for the items (I just relisted one b/c right after the auction the winning bidder said he couldn't pay for it )

Buyers can do whatever they want.
SpendTooMuchOnAtari
Thanks a lot for the replies, maybe Sunday is a good day. I wonder if Thursday is good because people get paid either Thursday (my wife's payday) or the next day on Friday. I think I'll try both days since I have so many to sell. Thanks again!
