Gorf
can this be used on existing .bin or .a78 rom files? If you are asking me if this is a graphics ripper, no and it will never be. It is for designing original, from scratch character and sprite maps. It will then output the info in asm text form for an 'include' into your code. The character maps default a $c000 and the sprites at $a000 but you can simply edit the first 'org' to where ever you might want to put the map. It will allow you to export sprites and characters made with this app so you can share sprites and characters from other maps via the sprite import command. It will also let you export and import color palette data from one sprite/character map to another. I cant and wont ever allow the loading of exsisting roms for ripping. S key to save...I will be posting a working version as soon as I figure out why MFC42.DLL is being a pain in the ass. See the included 'CharMapper78.txt' file for more. You will need to download tht MS run- time DLL's and install them however.
