carmel_andrews
Is there a website that has ALL and i mean ALL of the pirate boot menu collections (disk images) for use on pc and non pc emu's i.e automation, pompey, medway boys, superior/flame, vectronix, dbug etc etc...all the sites i have seen, seen only to have partial collections (i.e disks missing) Any help you can give is greatly appreciated
ppera
Situation was better some time ago, but even then was no site with all them. Not just that some disks missed (or were corrupted), but was no site with all groups (crews). At moment planetemu is the best, I think. One FTP with more images is down for some time. Shredder11
If you mean the actual game downloads that also include the menus, I got mine from a FTP server ages ago. It's still online and has good speeds and you can find it here: ftp.cs.tu-berlin.de The game crews included are Automation, Cynix, Debug, Flame Of Finland and Medway Boys. +CyranoJ
You can get a complete set of D-Bug menus from our page at: http://dbug-automation.co.uk The Medway Boys menus are all here: http://www.spiny.org/medway/ The Pompey Pirate menus all appear to be at: http://www.atari.st/content.php?type=t&file=cd_pompey (Although for some inexplicable reason you seem to have to pay for it...... ummmm???) -----------------===================-------------------- Please note: There is no complete (working) collection of Automation menus available online ANYWHERE at the moment. They will be available "shortly" at our site, as we have very nearly verified all images as correct from master disks.

aktiv8
Have to agree with the above posts... Automation/DBug wait for the DVD project - and no dount it will be well worth it. If you want most collections, then try that link posted by GGN and get the Axel-F collection. That should put you on the right tracks. Don't forget that for a "ccomplete" collection then you will want V2/V3/V whatever of various menus etc too. Otherwise Planetemu is your friend, just be prepared for a not so fun time on the downloads
anzac
i have several compilations of automation, d-bug, etc... i just wish that a better system had been found to make it easier to find a particular game... there are no indexes, disc lists, etc... carmel_andrews
I have all the old axel f stuff, got it from pigwa dot net's ftp site, unfortunately it has some holes in it (disks missing) perhaps there is a torrent site with an updated axel f collection (with the holes filled in) on an updated version on emule (but i won't hold my breath) I got most of the non menu games from planet emu (.st images only)...sorting them out shortly, i think that planet emu is a good site, shame it isn't so flashget friendly, unfortunately it also has some holes in some boot menu collections
simonsunnyboy
As I actually have all Pompey Pirate menues in the way they appeared on the LGD CD, I'm willing to mail GIVEN NUMBERS out. I do not have any space to host them for download ....

There is a nifty search option in the latest version of Steem's disk image explorer... Sorry about the patronising and intelligence-insulting pics, but I just got a copy of Snag-It and I'm currently 'snagging' everything that moves. anzac
thanks... my version of steem does not have that option... time to upgrade...
ppera
thanks... my version of steem does not have that option... time to upgrade... It is not because of Steem version (unless you have really old one). Just DL gamelist and depack to Steem's DIR. Then will have Search option in disk menu... RodLightning
Bumping this thread to 2015 in my arrogance, and for those who like reading really old posts. I was/am attempting to index a cdrom of Atari ST software that I burned back in November 2000 and discovered this topic. Flame of Finland and CYNIX disk libraries were not in my collection (they are now). The following links still answer as of 01/09/15: ftp.cs.tu-berlin.dehttp://www.spiny.org/medway/http://www.atari.st/content.php?type=t&file=cd_pompeyftp.pigwa.net/
