O2 programming sample.

Here is a small demo using the O2 backdrop grid line graphics. It uses a set

of 8 data tables representing the values to be loaded to the grid registers.

Of course you can change the table data to create your own grids.

Use this for what ever....all I ask is if you use it besides personal or

educational use, give me a shout out in your app.

:)

I'll post more as I make them.

A few screen shots of games Im working on.

Here is the source and a bat file.

You must have TASM.exe and TASM48.TAB

in the same folder. The bin will run on O2EM.

Should make this like bAtari Basic. :)

If you know someone like Fred with a big enough pair to try, God bless them.

They will need it.

Im not at all a language writer. Parsing code is not something I've had a whole lot

of experience with. Fred Quimby must have a large pair to want to even consider a

HLL like bAtari BASIC for ANY machine never mind the 2600. Besides, the 8048 is

a pretty twisted beast to code. Lots of bank selection and things that are much simpler

on a 6502.....there are no subtract or compare instructions. No > or < than conditions.

Only zero or not zero conditions. Its quite a challenge...right up my alley actually.

;)

The fact is I still prefer assembler for any console from the Jaguar down. Shoot, if I

could have converted bB, it'd have been done for Jaguar, 7800 Astrocade and the

O2 already.....though I'd use it little as I like touching the machine at the bit level. :)

The O2....its all about bit level.
