christineka
I was reading about fixing the power supply on the only document that comes up when I search for it, but I can't make sense of it. It gives instructions for the different types of power supplies and I'm way back at trying to figure out what type of power supply I have. So, the power won't turn on. I took apart the machine to clean out the dust and fluff, put it back together and it still won't turn on. The power cable attaches to a metal rod with a clamp like thing on it. Any ideas? The power turned on yesterday before my husband moved it. I'm really mad that it won't turn on today.
+Mitch
When you say the power doesn't come on does that mean the power light on the 5200 doesn't turn on? Mitch
christineka
When you say the power doesn't come on does that mean the power light on the 5200 doesn't turn on? That's right. No light and the tv stays all fuzzy. Yesterday The light went on and the screen went black. After my husband moved it to a nice shelf, it wouldn't turn on again. +Mitch
Does it have 2 or 4 joystick ports? Mitch

christineka
Okay, Duh moment. I found out the machine wasn't plugged it. My dh straightened out the prongs and didn't plug them back in afterward. Apparently straightening the prongs fixed the power issue. Now, to get the cartridges to work...
