Ross PK
I don't know how to load magazine listing games in the emulator. Thanks.
Heaven/TQA
depends in which format do you have them? if as .BAS file on an virtual ATR. then boot a dos ATR with basic enabled. then mount the ATR with the basic file and type LOAD"D:filename.bas" plus RUN. or...if you have them as standalone .BAS files... configure the atari800win and its "H:" device to the desired directory containing the file then you can LOAD "H:filename.bas". www.atarimania.com
Or "force" the emulator to load it as a tape using the CLOAD command. -- Atari Frog http://www.atarimania.com
Nukey Shay
CLOAD? Does that work? BTW another way of transferring Basic programs to the emulator using the H: device is to copy/paste a non-tokenized program listing into a text file on your PC. Replace all carriage returns with the › character (no, that's not >...but the control character for ATASCII returns). Save the file to the emulator's H: directory, then ENTER"H:filename.ext" the program into Basic.
Urchlay
Can you not just drag-and-drop the *.bas files on the atari800win shortcut icon? This works in Linux using the plain atari800 emulator with KDE or Gnome, can't imagine it wouldn't in Windows... For that matter, you should be able to double-click a .bas file, which ought to give you the "what do you want to open this with?" dialog... you pick the emulator and check the "always use for this type of file" option. Should only have to do this once... Same goes for .xex, .atr, .xfd, etc etc files.

Sadly this doesn't work with the Windows version of Atari800Win - at least not with version 4.0 However, my Atari Launcher (soon to be bundled with Atari800Win 4.2) does allow the loading of separate .bas files (it creates a temporary .atr file with DOS, adds the .bas program and then creates an autorun.sys to start it - this .atr is then launched and (usually ) the Basic program runs)
