+Allan
Hello All, I have a question about who programmed the 5200 version of Qix. Sites like Atarimania and AtariAge say that Eric Manghise programmed Qix, but if you look at the wall of GCC that has samples of the games they programmed, it has the 5200 Qix box on it. http://galleryszy.stevenanne.net/archives/...home_games.html As far as I know Eric only worked for Atari and not GCC. Also note that the 8-bit version of Qix is a completely different program so it's not an issue of someone doing the 8-bit version and somebody else converting over to the 5200. So what the heck is the real story? Did Eric do this program? Did GCC do this program? Were there two versions of the 5200 Qix program like the 2600 version of Millipede? Any thoughts or info? Tempest
Eric worked only briefly on Qix before passing it off to someone else (he didn't remember who when I asked). I forget the reason he stopped working on it, but I think he said something else he wanted to work on became available and he went to go work on that instead. GCC must have picked up where he left off. Tempest
