Atari 5200 games that never made it to Atari computers?...

I used to think that all Atari 5200 games had Atari 8-bit computer counterparts, but what about games like Sega's Star Trek, or Galaxian? AFIK, those two games don't.

MobyGames is a work-in-progress and their game lists are rarely complete. I definitely wouldn't assume something doesn't exist just because you don't see it there.

I think most of the 5200 games did reach the A8, albeit as hacked versions....thanks to the likes of homesoft and glenn the 5200 man

 

shame that atari didn't have the collective nouse to hiring peeps like these and do official A8 versions

I'm assuming he wanted to know which games were 5200 exclusives back then, but yes, most of them have been ported over by now.

 

Also, some of the games exist as prototypes and did actually have official ports, which were unfortunately not released.
