After a few minutes of play my 5200 goes blank?

I hope this is the right place to post this question.

My 5200 works perfectly for a couple minutes and then the game stops. The power is still on, but the game screen goes blank and there isn't any sound. It does this every time I play a game. After a few minutes it just goes blank. It's like a black screen of death.

Is this common, is there a way to fix this?

I've been maintaining my 2600 and other classic machines for last 20 years and the 5200 is the first to stump me. I'm pretty handy with a soldering iron, but I need to know the fix before I can do it. Usually I can find a common fix online and solder in chips or caps, but this time I've searched extensively and I can't find anyone else having a similar problem or tips on fixing it. I'm willing to do just about anything but I need to know what the issue is and where the problem is to be able to replace parts or make adjustments.

Here's hoping an expert has a solution.

Thanks in advance, Kain
