phaxda
Well, it's true. I am hooking all of my systems up to my new TV in my new game room (truly an exciting and wondrous time!) and I was in the mood for some 5200 Pole Position. I know some people like using the trackball to play, but I am a Wico stick on the loose setting kinda guy myself, so I rocked a few games and was surprisingly good! I mean, sure, my childhood training paid off as well--I know that track as well as any Mario Kart track--but playing Mario Kart has obviously sharpened my racing reflexes. It's also heckuvalot easier to play Pole Position: those other pixelmobiles are not equipped with shells of various colors, banana peels, and speedy mushrooms and I am faster than ALL of them! Good times. Unfortunately, looks like a few of my stock 5200 controllers have corroded again. No side button action on two of them, including one of my beloved 5200 paddle controllers! I love this system, but it requires a lot of patience sometimes.
