RSS Bot
I first got Mario Kart 64 shortly after it came out (might have even been the first day, I don't remember), and I have been loving it ever since. Mario Kart DS came mighty close to surpassing it, but after a long absence of not playing Mario Kart 64, I thought I'd play it again after losing in Mario Kart Wii. Now I remember why I love Mario Kart 64 so much. No stupid ink covered screens, no stupid first-place shells blowing you up all the time, just good old-fashioned Mario Kart fun the way it was meant to be. All those stupid items gone more than makes up for the fact that you can't pick and choose which tracks you'd like to play (Mario Kart 64 has no 1-player Vs. mode.). I thought Mario Kart 64 was the best Nintendo 64 game ever, and now after getting into classic gaming more (Atari 2600, Lynx, Virtual Boy), and with the newer systems that came after (GameCube, Wii, DS), Mario Kart 64 has stood the test of time, and I'm naming it the best game ever made for any system ever. http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?a...;showentry=6187
