hheiko
I´m trying to complete my Atari Red Label Collection, PAL&NTSC. I´ve already found&bought "Missile Command", which isn´t on the Atariage List yet. But know I've found a scan of a "Vanguard" Red Label Box. Has anyone seen a Red-Label Vanguard so far ? froggger2
I have seen a red Vanguard Box and red, white and black Vanguard instructions, but I have never seen a red label Vanguard cartridge. Has anyone else seen one?

Draikar
Red Label games are hard as hell to find, for me anyway.. Out of the 2 years I been buying Atari game lots only found 3. Classic black pic label is the best but also kind of like the text metallic color Label like the blue and green fonts on early games. Mindfield
Red labels are a fair bit harder than pics, texts or silvers, but I haven't found them that difficult to come across. Based on my needed CX list, I seem to be down to Road Runner, Motorodeo, Xenophobe, Ikari Warriors and BMX Airmaster. I have absolutely no illusions of being able to obtain 3 of those 5 any time soon... Mind you, there may be some NTSC red labels that aren't listed that are out there (like the red Yar's, which I recently found -- but others like that). Also, there are plenty of red PALs, but I'm only after the exclusives, which I think is pretty much limited to Fatal Run (which I have) and Klax (which is a proto). Mindfield
Sorry... forgot, it exists in PAL, but the NTSC is only a proto. Is there a difinitive list of red labels?
SS
Is there a difinitive list of red labels? Here's a link to the last update I made to the list that I was working on. http://www.atariage.com/forums/viewtopic.p...p=610406#610406
yuppicide
I don't think red labels are that hard to come across. I see them all the time, just whatever I find isn't what I want/need. Nor are they the price I want. I just sold a bunch of 2600 games (well 5 to be exact) with a Sprintmaster.

Here's a link to the last update I made to the list that I was working on. http://www.atariage.com/forums/viewtopic.p...p=610406#610406 Cool ... that helps. So based on that list, for official releases (excluding hacks, protos and reproductions) I still need BMX, Donkey Kong, Ikari Warriors, Motorodeo, Road Runner and Xenophobe. Haven't seen the red Donkey Kong before, or perhaps haven't been looking. At least that's one reasonably common NTSC red I still need. SS
NTSC reds that I still don't have are "BMX Airmasters", "Ikari Warriors", "Motorodeo" (although I do have a repro), "Mouse Trap", "Q*bert", "Sentinel", "Super Baseball", "Venture", "Xenophobe", and "Yars Revenge". The only red PAL cart that I own is "KLAX".

Osmeroid
Yes, I noticed! It seems to have been one of the ways Atari got rid of it's stock - to simply pack all sorts together.
theretrodogg
I will be selling my Red box collection very soon. Cootster
Yes, I noticed! It seems to have been one of the ways Atari got rid of it's stock - to simply pack all sorts together. Actually, does any game that was originally released in silver have a red label (NTSC, anyway)? I thought the red labels were only used on new titles, black-label originals, and the former Coleco/PB titles. Silver-label originals (Moon Patrol, ET, Vanguard, etc.) got gray labels. . . I have that c-1988 Vanguard cart, but no box/manual. The other two I've mentioned were definitely bought in a red box and are gray labels.
