Yow!!!

I have the old book "How to win at video games", and the end page is a preview of the "Atari Video System X"

I remember wanting one so badly.

Now is your chance !!

Yeah... That one would be a bit tough to explain to the wife without getting killed.

That is pretty cool. Way out of my league price wise, but it looks like a deal none the less!

Why thank you for the kind words sir.

I enjoyed it for some time but have switched gears. This is the last of my Atari prototypes.

You just want to have the number one views, on chuckwagon, again. :P

Maybe Al will grace the AA homepage with this auction :) I just Tweeted about it. What - you aren't following the Chuckwagon on Twitter?

That's interesting, but if I had $3,250 to drop at once on game equipment, I can't help but imagine the ROOM FULL of stuff I'd buy with it as opposed to a nonfunctional prototype.

Hell, I thought this huge vintage Atari arcade tester was overpriced:

....but perhaps it is not?

I've asked this before, but I don't think I ever got an answer. What does the splash screen say when the System X starts up? Does it say 5200? I assume the BIOS must be different.

Maybe I missed it, but I don't see the answer to my question on that page.

I'm interested also. It would be cool to have a System X bios.

And it's sold. I must admit BuyAtari put his Free Seller account to good use. That would have cost a bit to sell on Ebay :) Glad the Chuckwagon worked out for ya.

Well I've already made back what I spent on the lifetime membership if I had to pay ebay fees and I've done it selling somewhere other than eBay. Why suport them when you support your own ?

This is the second high dollar item (first was Atari 2700) I've sold on Chuckwagon. So for those of you who are afraid to try Chuckwagon I say give them a shot ! What do you have to lose?
