These are things in Paint Shop Pro X for me to remember since I always seem to forget.

 

 

 

Faded Photo

 

If you scan in an old faded photo, here's the fix:

 

Adjust > Color > Fade Correction

(You may need to go as high as 100, depending on how bad the photo looks.)

 

 

 

Dust or Speckles on the Photo

 

There are various fixes for this, but it seems the Salt and Pepper Filter does the least amount of damage to the details:

 

Adjust > Add/Remove Noise > Salt and Pepper Filter
