How do I play Boulder Dash II?

I picked up a copy of this a few years ago (#30 for those who care for such things) and can't figure out how to play it. I've never been able to finish even one cave, even after reading the instructions. How do I explode a wall?

If I can't figure out how to play it, maybe I'll put it up for sale...

You need to collect a set # of diamonds (there is a # on the screen somewhere) - once you have done this a flashing box will appear which you enter to go to the next level.

You can drop the boulders on the bad guys which will produce more gems (you need to do this on some levels)

Hope this helps.

I have Boulderdash (I) which doesn't require exploding walls initially (some later levels may need it)-- just dropping boulders and collecting diamonds within a given time. Hero on the other hand REQUIRES that you blow up walls to get to the end of a level.

Figured out how to play it by watching the attract sequence, something I hadn't thought of before. Also found a webpage about it with lots of screenshots from the C64 version.

Having said that, I still can't get the "magic wall" properly and chances are I'll be selling this pretty soon. I've still got the box and manual somewhere...

If you give up or get sick of it, I'll buy it (or trade with you). Let me know. I don't have Boulderdash II-- just the older version.
