tjb
It's "cute and powerful" with a wireless mouse: http://cgi.ebay.com/Atari-1024-ST-With-ATARI-wireless-mouse-RETRO_W0QQitemZ180409315511QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item2a013bb0b7&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 Everytime I think I've seen it all something like this comes along... tjb
atarian1
Hey, this is pretty cool! I guess it's a mini-ITX board in a 1040ST case. About time. Someone already did one for the Atari 800. What's really cool is the mouse! I wonder what type of mouse they used? I'd also like to know how this was constructed. Still, it's a $3500 PC. +remowilliams
No, it's not really that cool. And way too pricey.
Rybags
Rediculous price aside, the question that just has to be asked: Why would anyone go to the trouble to cram the guts of a perfectly good wireless mouse into that POC mouse body of the ST - quite probably the second worst ergonomic design mouse of any old computer, after that brick that came with the 68K Macs of the mid/late 1980s. the.golden.ax
Okay, so yes... this is very neat, but making it is half the fun. I'd never pay someone else $3K+ for one. AX
jeremysart
I have to admit, that is pretty cool, but of course I would not pay that much for it, computers become outdated too quickly, soon enough, it will be vintage guts inside of an ancient shell lol. I would rather do something like this to an old IMB 5150 though.
