Primordial Ooze Posted November 20, 2009 Share Posted November 20, 2009 I just recieved my Harmony Cart and am looking to download all the Atari 2600 roms in one fell swoop, to test the harmony carts capibilites. Can someone please direct me to a download link where i can download all the roms, preferably from Atariage? Hornpipe2 Posted November 25, 2009 Share Posted November 25, 2009 Rom's Collection is a really amazing effort in compilation and Atari game history, and to that end it contains a lot of near-duplicate games released from different publishers for machines worldwide. If you're looking to cull the list down to a "play" set, then you should do two things: * remove any rom with (PAL) in the filename * keep only roms with a ~ in the filename That gives you a unique (no dupes) set playable on NTSC (United States) televisions. Is there any collections (or collection of links) of freeware PAL homebrew games (post 1992) available? Or even anyone or anywhere which sells ROM downloads of newer PAL homebrew games.
