KevinMos3
My only complaint about the Euro Gamepads is that the buttons are spread too far apart. This causes a bit of difficulty when trying to exit a tank in Ikari Warriors because you have to press both buttons at the same time. However, I'm not aware of any other games where this is an issue. As for some people feeling like the Prolines are the worst or 2nd worst controllers ever, you should try some of the 3rd party controllers from the era. There were some REAL stinkers there. The Prolines are far from the worst, they really aren't even bad controllers. They're just difficult to use on 2-button games and can cause cramps after a while, but a lot of joysticks can do that. My favorite joysticks of all time are the Slik Stik for the 2600 and the TAC-2 for the 7800.
+MrFish
...And that euro gamepad general shape would be the shape of things to come. I'm pretty sure it was the other way around. The Atari 7800 joypad was patterned after the nintendo gamepad. So, more like the shape of things that were already here...
