It boggles the mind how Air Raid sells for more than this

 

Blame it on the early recorded history of videogames. Had it not been listed in the DP guide as a US release from the start you would find this cart listed under the unknown imports section on most websites. Once it is in print right or wrong people are hard pressed to change opinion on it.

 

Change is possible though. For years people paid hundreds for a Music Machine record that has as much to do with the Music Machine videogame as random smurf figure has to do with the Smurfs game.

 

I'm not really sure how this new game Gamma-Attack fits into to the big picture yet. Will collectors think of this title as an early homebrew or as a real release or just as an oddity. The end price on this auction doesn't suggest that there is a huge pool of willing buyers. Who knows had Gamma-Attack been listed as an R10 in the first DP guides the ending price could have sold for a new public record.
