tjb
So what do you think is a fair price for this lot? eBay Auction -- Item Number: 260532997069 It averages out to around $15.15 per cart. Certainly some of the carts of worth more but some are worth less. Thoughts? tjb

Ransom
The Atarilab stuff is rare? Boy, I'm gonna put 'em on eBay for a gazillion dollars. Same for my light pen kit. And I'm going to buy a boxed graphics tablet from BEST Electronics for good measure, and put that up for six times the price!
Cebus Capucinis
But you guys have to remember -- FREE SHIPPING.... haha but wait.... "buyer has to pay for insurance" that was almost a good deal there! I'm gonna make an offer on this and see what happens...
phaxda
I think at $800-$1000 he might get some interest. I think 2K is at least double what they are worth.

+save2600
Does anyone know how many carts were supposedly made for the A8? Can't believe how many exist. Really shows you the difference in marketing back then. Sure, disk drives were expensive, but you'd have thought they would have rather distributed their software on disk or tape over the costly alternative which is the cartridge. Growing up and observing what friends had, I'd say the ratio of A8 owners to disk drives was closer to 70/30. At least 70% had drives. And everyone I knew had cassette storage. Are you talking games or everything? I think there are around 250 games on cart probably another 100 or so of other types of cart programs. phaxda
Auction ended early, smells like a nice side deal to me. Off eBay, avoid the fees, etc. I am sure no one will fess up, but I hope it was a good deal. There were definitely some gems in there.
