Mirage
Some of the info in that ebay review is outdated... no automatic countdown timer, they have that now. Oh, and that ebay is a good auction site with 4-star reviews for buying and selling. Outdated!
lemoncurry
With over 3x the auctions of the other nine put together, eBay is still the only rational choice for best exposure and best selling prices on collectibles. (May or may not pertain to vintage video games.) Just sayin'...

(May or may not pertain to vintage video games.) Just sayin'... I agree. Looking over that list makes me feel pretty good seeing where GameGavel has come in its first two years. Ebay certainly has no competition from any of those listed. Most look horrible as well. Edited January 29, 2010 by Parrothead
Shawn
Amazon isn't considered an auction site anymore? They only have Buy It Now's? I've only used Amazon a couple times for books so I have no clue.

(May or may not pertain to vintage video games.) Just sayin'... I agree... but the changes over the past few years have been quite bad (arguably) for both buyers and sellers. I don't think they deserve a 4/4 star rating for buying and selling anymore. Of course, yes, they are still the "best" place if you have something to sell that makes no sense to sell locally. It's unfortunately the necessary evil - for now.
