atari_envy
In the military we have the saying, "There is always one." As in, one person to screw up. On eBay, the saying should be, it just takes two. As in two people willing to throw crazy money away on that item instead of being patient. t***7 US $146.50 Mar-11-10 01:35:54 PST s***_ US $144.00 Mar-11-10 03:09:20 PST t***7 US $105.00 Mar-11-10 01:35:22 PST s***_ US $88.00 Mar-11-10 03:06:46 PST t***7 US $5.00 Mar-11-10 01:32:03 PST

SoulBlazer
I have to admit that's a very nice looking CIB copy of the game -- like it was just unwrapped. Still, I know it's not worth that much. How much would you people say the 'real' value of that would be? Snoopy is rather common, no?
homerwannabee
Wow,oh wow on some of the prices this guy is paying. The most shocking is this one. I know that cannon man is rare. Oh yes indeedy I do. In fact even loose I think it is rarer, and underrated. But the price he paid for this just took me aback. $199.95 for the game loose. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 310189884822 Wow oh wow, that is an amazing buy. I have a feeling this guy is really, really, really well off. For you and I $200 is something that we need to check our sanity for. Mainly because there is a mortgage/rent/car/ any other need in life payment that goes before this. This guy $200 seems more like $2.00. Since his name is lit8tor it is obvious he is in the law profession, and if he is in the right kind of work, which I think he is, than he is probably a multi-millionaire. And if that is the case, than he really isn't overspending. When you have that much loot the kind of money we awe over means nothing. atari_envy
eBay Auction -- Item Number: 200450980669 Not unusual for a game to sell for crazy money and another one pops up after with a high starting price or BIN like this one. I would pay around $50 for one of these (and I need a CIB copy).

I do think it still will go down a bit. I think in 2002 I a paid $175 for for my CIB Halloween. A good example was Dragon Stomper. $75 for around 3 of them then back down to $29.99. HHW I agree, Halloween is a bit of an oddity. Even still, the price is slowly coming back down. It was only a few months ago that a CIB Halloween was clearing $1000 and a loose cart over $200. I just picked up a loose Halloween cart for $103 in January. Looking at recent auctions from Atari2600.com price guide, you can see that the prices are still out of whack: Wizard Video Games Halloween Cartridge only $145.83 Wizard Video Games Halloween Complete in box $393.62 Wizard Video Games Halloween New in box $288.50 My guess is that Halloween will settle into the $100 range for a loose cart and $250 for CIB. And yes, Halloween is rarer and has more demand that Snoopy, which means it will quickly slide back into the $50 range for CIB and $15 for loose cart. atari_envy
Sheesh, that Hozer Rezeller must be so happy. I must have a few things around here I can list for inflated prices... I know, right? Plus, Hozer will skew the supply/demand of this cart by producing as many as people will buy. We are no longer talking about a rare commodity since the buyers don't seem to care if it is an original or a Hozer. Eventually the market will be saturated and demand will go away.
