GroovyBee
I've also done quite a few optimisations in the Core code. Some are in and around the MARIA line RAM. Hopefully it should improve the speed of the screen rendering in the hand held machine ports.

GroovyBee
any chance you could post or PM me the newish code so I can fiddle with it in the PSP port and see what comes of it? I've optimised the MARIA line RAM to buffer code and tested it as much as possible. Writing graphics data to the MARIA line RAM is being worked on at the moment so its not in a fit state to go out the door. There are quite a few changes elsewhere too. I'll compare the new code with the PSP code and note any major differences. I'll also have a look at the PSP's buffer to display code to see if there is any mileage in optimising that. I'm hoping to get a new version (source and executable) out this week. Then I'll move on to make it more developer friendly. Where can I get a PSP compiler system from? Underball
I use an xubuntu image running in virtualbox. I got it from the guy did the original port of prosystem to psp. I'll see if I can dig up a link or when you get it cleaned up i could compile it no problem.
