The 800 version is the original and the best! the 2600 version is a completely stripped down version, which, while good, can never compare to the 800 version! the 5200 version is quite faithful to the 800 though, and some even like it better because of the analog control (myself included). if you liked the 2600 version, your in for a REAL treat on the 800!
