Jess Ragan
Personally, I like the Atari 5200 because it's the better of the two competing systems. Sure, the resolution is rough, but I can live with that when the games are more colorful and the scrolling is smoother. People who complain about the awful controller need to look into alternatives, like the Wico Command Control or an adapter. Besides, it's not like the stock controller for the ColecoVision was significantly better.
atariksi
I have 5 trackballs since that debate all NIB (one is SIB). Five trackballs NIB? Nice. I have 2 that I got at a flea market years ago, (in good shape but not NIB). Most of my stuff came from flea markets back in the mid '90s. One thing about Atari 5200 trackball is that it's a robust item like the system-- hardly ever fails. Unlike the A5200 joystick controllers. Ironically, one trackball that I bought for the system that was described as working had fire button issues.
