dwhyte
Here's the Datasoft version that I've had for a while. Will this attached file have the same issues, I wonder. PACMAN.XEX
Kjmann
Here's the Datasoft version that I've had for a while. Will this attached file have the same issues, I wonder. Nice. This Version is all but identical to my version, except my version doesn't have the datasoft copyright when it first starts up. This version also doesn't seem to suffer from the control bug. This one has the DataSoft message while the other one didn't to start off with.

Kr0tki
Yep, dwhyte's version is identical to the US Gold tape release. My bad kjmann, I didn't know that the "© 1982 Atari" version also was an official Datasoft release. So it seems that there were 2 different Datasoft versions produced. Yeah, It's almost like they were in a hurry and released it before they were done cleaning it up. LOL Typical. =)

LOL Typical. =) Just played through that Datasoft version and it does have control problems with the joystick. On screen 5 and 6, I wasn't able to move right to start the screen and later the level before key level I wasn't able to move in the middle of the screen. And one other difference is that the Atari logo screens don't exist on this version; they got replaced with some weird looking symbol. And it's easier than original 8K Pacman cart as far as my scores go. So looks like Datasoft in trying to make a name for themselves screwed up the game.
