616,300 - Back in business (again)

So I haven't updated the blog in over two months. Here's what happened: I got bored. I played so much Donkey Kong I couldn't stand it anymore. So I stopped. I barely even turned on the 7800 in that time as I was so tired of it. I played Rygar on the Lynx, Viva Pinata 2 and Bajoo Kazooie on the 360, and a bunch of other stuff. I basically assumed I had given up this attempt.

 

Then I decided to give it a go last night. After two months of not playing, I played three games (two I ended by resets, as I died too early). Game three I beat my high score.

 

I had figured I'd "lost it" in the meantime. Turns out, somehow I got better by not playing. Weird. Anyway, I guess this means the attempt is back on. Stay tuned.
