98PaceCar
Did people finally give up on there being a release of Bingo for the RCA?
Tempest
Did people finally give up on there being a release of Bingo for the RCA? I was about to say that it's not really a complete set. Bingo exists. I saw it, I touched it, but unfortunately I didn't get to see it in action. It's an R10, but it does exist! Tempest
pinball22
Nice collection, hope you get a buyer. I really like "TV Mystic Series" for a category.

As time goes on I tend to swing more towards the prototype/unreleased line of thinking. At least I hope it's not a production game so that my set will stay complete! It was in a large blue box (part of the TV Casino series) that was the same size as the TV Schoolhouse 1 box. It had Bingo cards and tokens inside, so I'm guessing it was nothing more than a number generator (which would suit the Studio II's capabilities just fine). The box was a full production thing, I'm guessing it had a very limited distribution. Tempest
toymailman
Did people finally give up on there being a release of Bingo for the RCA? Was Bingo seen at a show or in a store? I think if it was at a show then it may have been a finished game but never actually released. Sorta like the M-Network D&D games (and many others). If that's the case it would be nice if it surfaced, but does anyone know how to burn ROMs for this system?

It had what appeared to be complete retail packaging, so I'm guessing it was actually released. Maybe it was a mail order only thing? Tempest
We've only seen this game among collectors 2 or 3 times, it's extremely scarce. There's more than one out there? That's news to me. Tempest
toymailman
We've only seen this game among collectors 2 or 3 times, it's extremely scarce. Hmmm...this could be just the samples that where seen at the show and eventually made their way to collector's hands. By this time the Atari VCS was released and dominating the market. My guess is that they never made more than the show samples as they knew the end was near. They probably didn't want to incur any production costs and exited the market. If my theory is correct then I don't know if show samples count as released games; eventhough they do exist. Below I have made incremental levels as possible final outcomes for a game. IMHO a game must be at step 3 for me to count it as an official release. 1) Unfinished Prototype - (Miss Piggy's Wedding) 2) Finished Unreleased - (M-Network D&D games, and RCA Bingo) 3) Very Limited Release - (MagiCard, Atlantis II, Pepsi Invaders) mail order or limited audience only 4) Full Release - sold in stores for anyone to buy Maybe "show samples" could be added as a step 2.5 as a box/label (essentially full product) was made but still not released. There are also a few homebrews that someone made for this system, but until someone can turn them into carts I put them in at step 2.
