Cliff Friedel
I know this has been asked before, but anyone got a good supplier of 2600 joystick adapters for the 5200? The 5200 controller has got to be the worst piece of junk ever created, even worse than the Intellivision disc controllers. What's really a shame is I think the 5200 would be a lot of fun to play if it weren't for fighting with these things. Thanks in advance. They were trying to outdo Intellivision's controllers as to which are worse given they already had the best. Trackball is great, however. Currently, they way I use an Atari 2600 controller (without having to go the soldering route) is to hook it up to a parallel port cable or a gameport cable to a PC and then send the digital information of the joystick reads via an adapter to the Atari 5200. There are other solutions out there.
