So I got a record player that records into your computer. Let me just say while I'm glad I finally bought one, I am less than thrilled with the results. Must be because records have hissing sounds that I can't seem to get rid of (using Audacity, anyway.) For a few samples of how this works, go to my website I set up that has a few samples of really short songs. Notice the hissing. Argh! Is there any program (free or that I have to pay for) to get rid of the hisses? I noticed a few things that I thought interesting. #1: This uses the same needles as my old one. #2 - I can't use Windows Media Player while the record player is plugged in to the computer. Well, I can, but no sound comes out of it. #3 - The price. After the sale and the ten percent off coupon, it was only $55. I was expecting to pay more like $100. #4 - It says before you use it to set the transit screw. While I found where it is, I didn't really know what the hell they were talking about,...
