But i received a different cover variation of the same game i won, different box art.but i am collecting different versions so it matters to me. i emailed the seller asking him to send me the correct version but now he tells me he is out of stock and for me to send it back and then he will refund my money. soooo: should i send it back first or make him refund it? also,i already filed a complaint for item not as described.....oh....and i opened the sealed game he sent me before i realized it was the wrong one. the game was 25.
BDW
Demand the refund before you send it. I mean DEMAND it. If that guy is half decent, he would go to any lengths to keep his customer pleased and his reputation untainted. Demand your refund, my friend. +cmart604
Hey Rev, I'd ask for my refund first, as the seller should be looking to right the wrong. I had this happen to me once on INTV NASL Soccer that was supposed to be sealed and the seller sent me regular Soccer. I think I only paid 10 bucks so I just let it go plus I just didn't feel like dealing with the hassle of sending it back. What game was it you were buying? hhwolfman
You send it back , the seller refunds you the money. This is how it works. I might be reluctant to send it back though, as it is not in the same condition as received.
+LS650
If you buy something in a real store, do you demand that they refund your money before you return the merchandise?
SpendTooMuchOnAtari
I agree but if you're at a store, you do get to see the exact item you are buying. There weren't be any of this nonsense. I say go for the refund, he already didn't follow the transaction. You paid for what was advertised and I know you'll send it back but in the meantime, a refund is in order IMO. the.golden.ax
Call the eBay customer protection number and open a case. Ask eBay for a prepaid label to be emailed to you. Ebay will cover the return cost, you just print and ship. When the tracking shows delivery, call eBay back and get your money. It couldn't be easier these days with not as described cases. Austin
Is the game in question the sealed one that you opened? If so, that might be a problem... Edited June 12, 2010 by Austin
the.golden.ax
Is the game in question the sealed one that you opened? If so, that might be a problem... Going through the 1800 number, not mentioning that, you would not have any issue. Not as described is not as described. I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess the seller in question is in Titusville, FLA? AX
